Here's a few wood sources i've tripped across along the way. editorial comments are entirely based on my own experience.

Bad Dogs Burl Source www.burlsource.com
Woodfinder- sort of an online repository of wood blank supliers www.woodfinder.com
Cook Woods- high quality wood Ships from the West Coast, so a bit pricey www.cookwoods.com
Diamond Tropical Hardwoods- great cocobolo suplier, all their wood is certified from sustainable sources or plantation grown http://www.cocoboloking.com/
The Wood and Shop- Has a wide variety of wood to choose from. I wasn't 100% happy with one of the 2x2x24" sticks of Holly they set, but shipping was reasonable as were prices. http://www.woodnshop.com/default.htm
Griffin Exotics I've ordered one batch from these folks, and Paul W. used them on a regular basis. http://www.exoticwood.biz/
Texas Woodcrafts- If you don't see what yuo're looking for, ask Lloyd, and if he doesn't have it, he might be able to tell you where to get it. Wood is true to the pictures. Shipping is at cost, and a lot of the wood comes from a place not too far from where I used to live in Texas. (OK, so I'm a little partial.
